PAK™27 Algaecide was granted full EPA Registration on May 21, 2004. EPA No. 68660-9
This registration is for control of blue-green algae in lakes, ponds and drinking water reservoirs.
PAK™27 is NSF certified for Drinking Water Reservoirs.
December 2006
The EPA has granted expanded usage and increased dosage rates for PAK™27.
The expanded usage now includes moving water (irrigation, drainage and conveyance ditches, canals, laterals), shallow basins (estuaries, bayous, lagoons, water gardens, and water features), impounded water, and waste water.
The increased application rate is expanded from a maximum of 16.9#/acft to 100#/acft.
January 2005
On January 13, 2005 the EPA granted approval for use of PAK™27 in Aquaculture. The new label now reads “For control of blue-green algae in lakes, ponds, drinking water reservoirs and aquaculture.”
